Polypropylene covers the widest range of finished parts of anything we supply. Injection moulders working on packaging and technical mouldings ask for it most, because it fills the tool well and holds up over long runs.
- transport and storage packaging: crates, boxes, lids
- bins, tubs, baskets and garden ranges
- closures and caps, where a hinge has to survive many cycles
- parts for white goods and vehicle interiors
- profiles, tapes and pipe on extrusion
If the part meets chemicals, detergents or fats in use, PP is usually the first material to consider. It resists a wide range of compounds that would attack other polymers.
